<p>Melbourne, 3 March 2004 – Kodak Australia today announced that it will be a major sponsor of Fashion Rocks Australia, a show that will fuse fashion and music on one stage to be held at Melbourne’s Crown Showroom on Saturday, 13 March 2004.</p>
<p>Kodak will leverage on its sponsorship of Fashion Rocks for the launch of a new style camera, the Kodak EasyShare LS743 zoom digital camera.</p>
<p>Mr Steve Morley, General Manager, Australia and New Zealand, Digital &amp; Applied Imaging Products, Kodak Digital &amp; Film Imaging Systems Division said, “Kodak is delighted to support the inaugural Fashion Rocks event as it embodies leading-edge design with great looks -- attributes found in Kodak’s EasyShare LS743 digital camera. The Kodak EasyShare LS743 digital camera is as intelligent as it is beautiful, offering consumers the ultimate experience in digital photography and a fashion accessory to match their lifestyle.”</p>
<p>As part of the sponsorship, celebrities and guests attending a Fashion Rocks VIP dinner on 12 March at The Forum - Flemington Race Course, will get to experience the new LS743 camera and have their pictures taken by a Kodak promotional team dressed in designer outfits.</p>
<p>Audiences attending the Fashion Rocks event on 13 March will have the opportunity to participate in Kodak's Digital Style Moment competition by simply dressing 'Rock Chic'. One lucky winner snapped by the official Kodak EasyShare photographer will win the Kodak LS743 digital camera that evening.</p>
<p>Performed for a live and television audience, Fashion Rocks is a one and a half hour show headlined by Lisa Marie Presley and Australian music artists Katie Underwood, Candice Alley, Rogue Traders, J-Wess, The Morning After Girls, Mandy Kane, Resin Dogs and Cannon. They will perform live while leading Australian models showcase Autumn/Winter’04 collections from leading men’s and women’s designers including Calibre, Paablo Nevada, Roy, Third Millennium, Nicola Finetti, Ty + Melita, Phillips, AG, Jenny Bannister, Lisa Barron, Princess Highway and Wayne Cooper. The event will raise much needed support for Kids Help Line with a percentage of each ticket sold going directly to the charity.</p>
