321 Studios says "Share the love!" with DVDXSHOW

Charming slideshow program supplements its impressive DVD-authoring abilities with email support and a free viewer

Sydney (February 10, 2004) -- 321 Studios, the leader in DVD backup and recovery software, says “SHOW and share the love!” through email or DVD with the Australian release of DVDXSHOW 2.2, available now through retailers nationwide.

Now you can create an exciting slideshow movie out of your photo collection and email it to friends and family. Recipients of your email will be able to easily download a DVDXSHOW viewer, for free, and play your DVDXSHOW movie right on their desktop. This new feature is in addition to DVDXSHOW’s impressive ability to create DVD movies that will play on any PC fitted with a DVD drive or any DVD player.

“We say ‘SHOW and share the love!’ because that is exactly what you can do with DVDXSHOW software -- create touching, fun, slideshow movies out of your photo collections that really SHOW your friends and family how much you care about them,” said Rob Semaan, the Sydney-born and raised CEO of 321 Studios, which is headquartered in St Louis, US. “What a great way to stay close to your loved ones!”

Also new in version 2.2 is the ability to turn your DVDXSHOW movie into a screensaver. The screensaver “loops” your movie, playing it continuously until you return to your computer.

DVDXSHOW allows the customer to bring their photo collection to life with animations, transitions and Hollywood-style effects like pans and zooms. By adding a voiceover -- recorded with a PC’s built-in microphone and simple audio-capture software, for example -- the user can even tell documentary-style stories through their slideshows, echoing the style of the influential filmmaker Ken Burns. “The ability to pan and zoom is what really sets DVDXSHOW apart,” said Semaan.
“With 321’s “Upgrades for Life” program, people who have purchased earlier versions of
DVDXSHOW can download the upgrade to version 2.2 at no charge,” said Semaan.

To get the free upgrade, just go to http://www.dvdxcopy.com and log in. As a registered user, you will have the choice of downloading the upgrade for free or having it mailed to you on CD for a nominal additional shipping charge.
