<p>LogicaCMG has secured a contract with Optus Mobile, one of Australia’s leading mobile operators, to deploy LogicaCMG’s Multimedia Messaging Service Centre (MMSC). The implementation has upgraded the previous platform, enabling Optus Mobile to offer MMS services to its pre paid customers.</p>
<p>This high-performance, high availability solution provides the scalability necessary to maintain the quality of service users expect from MMS services. Critical functions such as transcoding, which ensures an optimum end-user experience by adapting the multimedia messages to all different handsets supported, underpin the high levels of service delivered by LogicaCMG.</p>
