Most recently, the AMD Opteron processor Model 848 received the Microprocessor Report Analysts’ Choice Award for Best Server Processor 2003. This is the fourth consecutive year that In-Stat/MDR analysts have recognised AMD processors for their technical innovation.</p>

<p>SUNNYVALE, CA — February 9, 2004—AMD (AMD: NYSE) today announced that its AMD64 processors have already received 36 awards worldwide since the AMD Opteron™ processor launch in April 2003 and the introduction of the AMD Athlon™ 64 processor in September 2003. Most recently, the AMD Opteron processor Model 848 received the Microprocessor Report Analysts’ Choice Award for Best Server Processor 2003. This is the fourth consecutive year that In-Stat/MDR analysts have recognized AMD processors for their technical innovation.</p>
