iBursting with Red

Following on the heels of a highly successful pre-launch campaign, Red Agency has been re-engaged to continue as Personal Broadband Australia’s PR and marketing communications advisors.

Appointed by PBBA in August 2003, Red Agency has worked closely with the wireless broadband service provider to create and implement an integrated media relations and marketing programme. A busy five-month calendar filled with direct communication and dialogue with tier one media and targeted stakeholder audiences has raised the company’s profile and enhanced PBBA’s reputation as an innovator in the lead up to the launch of its iBurst service.

Personal Broadband Australia (PBBA) is a Sydney based company established to provide the first commercial implementation of the iBurst wide area broadband access system in the world.

Said John Filmer, Marketing Director, PBBA, “Right from the outset of working with Red Agency, we were impressed with the company’s creative, well-considered and strategic approach to promoting iBurst. Their knowledge of issues, trends and the media in our marketplace was impressive. They were clearly ready to hit the ground running and haven’t stopped since.”

“There is definitely a real buzz now surrounding PBBA’s iBurst service, which is supported by a consistent flow of quality coverage that incorporates a defined set of key messages,” said Red Agency Director, Neil Travers.

“It is a joy to work alongside such an enthusiastic client with such a genuine belief in their offering. With iBurst’s major commercial launch a matter of weeks away, the Red team enters the next phase of an exciting account intent on playing a significant role in the fulfilment of PBBA’s huge potential.”
