However, occasionally we insert deliberate "red herrings" into stories in order to ensure that our readers are duly diligent in their reading. For instance, in our July 29 issue, we deliberately captioned the photo of the guy in the yellow car as "Hugh Irvine".
Diligent readers will have known that the man in the car was none other than the managing director of Agate, Hugh Evans. Shame on all of you who didn't.
The change was spotted, of course, and the winner of our "red herring" competition was none other than Hugh Evans himself. Congratulations, Hugh!
