Enterasys Networks will kick-off its partner program for 2004 on Wednesday with the Secure Networks Roadshow to be held in three states.
Enterasys will update attendees in Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney on its secure networks strategy, and provide a demonstration of secure networks.
"Secure networks is our major focus for 2004," managing director of Enterasys Australia, Gary Mitchell, said. "Our single biggest feature is the ability to deploy an acceptable usage policy on a single user basis - that's our network management product [NetSight Atlas].
"So we're talking about secure networks as opposed to network security. You know, bolt-on solutions such as adding a firewall and so on."
Enterasys' partner program is starting early this year as part of plans to improve marketing.
"It's a chance for resellers and their clients to come and ask questions on our roadmap," Mitchell said.
Anybody can register to attend.
"This year we'll also be holding fortnightly information sessions for partners and their clients at our various Australian offices," he said.
The vendor currently has no plans to add to its reseller ranks, but will launch a new partner program around the end of February after its partner conference in Thailand.
The Secure Networks Roadshow will be in Melbourne on Wednesday, and in Canberra and Sydney on Thursday.
Seminars in Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth will be held at later dates.
