Software vendor, Vignette, is planning to launch a revised partner program, following its acquisition of Tower Technology.
The company plans to roll out the revised program across its global channel, and is now actively looking for Australian distribution partners for its newly developed enterprise content management (ECM) system.
“We have 12 local partners at present, and wish to expand on this,” Vignette APAC partner director, Chris Mollo, said.
The new program will be more of a partner-led model, according to US-based vice-president of strategic alliances and business development, Mark Belles, with partners leading consulting and implementation services.
“The new model will be more of a strategic relationship.” he said, “It will involve joint selling, and leveraging off each others’ business. We want to blend our capabilities with our partners.”
Partners would receive the majority of services and consulting revenue, Belles said, and could receive payment for either introducing Vignette products into a new account and/or assisting in a joint sales campaign.
