Digital has joined with Cisco to establish an Asia/Pacific networks expertise centre to service DEC, Cisco and Stratacom's customers in the region.
The centre will be based in DEC's Auckland office and will focus on supporting the company's network and systems integration services division (NSIS) specialists in the Asia/Pacific region.
DEC officials say the centre is the first of its kind in the networking market. Cris Nicolli, director NSIS, South Pacific region, said: "Digital has supported ATM WAN technology since 1992 and in the last four years we have provided local support for Cisco Stratacom technologies and services. This experience combined with the establishment of the new centre will give us the ability to provide an exceptional level of support and technical expertise for our customers who require a Cisco Stratacom solution."
