Data Diction has released three new inexpensive diskette-based products in its Which? series: a national restaurant guide; a national accommodation guide; and a Sydney leisure guide. At $14.95 RRP each, they are an ideal impulse purchase and are simple to install and use.
All have a WIMP interface which includes digital maps and a search engine. Searches may be conducted by entering conditions such as location, price and facilities, or by clicking on a location on the map. The results are displayed clearly, complete with relevant information.
Which? Restaurant lists information including open hours, seating, credit cards accepted, BYO, and takeaway or delivery services on 13,000 restaurants across Australia.
Which? Accommodation provides information on more than 6000 hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts, guest houses and serviced apartments.
The third new Which? disk, Pastorelli's Sydney Leisure Guide, contains over 750 listings in 40 leisure categories and has information such as opening times, prices and public transport options.
Which? software is available on disk and is designed to run on IBM compatible PCs, 386 or better, 4Mb RAM or more.
The Which? guides are an affordable luxury which make planning your weekend, holiday or night out an easier task.
