Micrografx Australia has neg- otiated a distribution agreement with Q*Soft following the termination of its previous relationship with Sealcorp Computer Products.
The move comes after Sealcorp's recent repositioning as a value-add networking distributor, with separate divisions encompassing a range of products for the networking environment.
According to Micrografx managing director Jeffrey Lewis, the company needs a distributor that will focus on its range and provide the service level that its channel partners expect.
"After the recent changes to Sealcorp's model, Micrografx has appointed the distributor whose model best fits its strategy for the next few years of growth for Micrografx in Australia," he explained.
Under the new arrangement, Q*Soft will distribute the Micrografx range of corporate and SOHO products throughout Australia.
Q*Soft managing director Douglas Heath said value will be added to the Micrografx range through the Q*soft emphasis on specialist product support.
"We will have a base of sales and technical support people who know how to use and understand the product and who can advise dealers on the best product to suit their needs," he said.
