Digital has officially opened its expanded manufacturing and logistics plant in Lane Cove.
According to Shayne Bricker, manufacturing director for Digital Australia, manufacturing, logistics, sales and marketing have been united to the single location to better serve customers by increasing internal efficiency.
The new PC assembly facility was expanded from Digital's original pilot operation in response to increasing demand for its build-to-order desktop products, and now has a daily production capacity of 1500 PCs.
PCs being manufactured at the plant include the Venturis and Celebris products, whilst Prioris servers are being configured to customer specifications.
