In a bid to strengthen its channel, FileNet has launched a Complementary Solution Provider (CSP) scheme that enables software companies to leverage FileNet's technical and marketing resources to develop and sell products complementary to FileNet's workflow, document imaging/management solutions.
Robyn Bradbury, marketing director, FileNet Asia-Pacific, said the company is working with two software companies that are close to making a decision to set up in Australia and take part in FileNet's CSP program.
"With the reorganisation of FileNet in this region, we'll be doing a lot more in the partner space," said Bradbury.
"It means giving us more arms and legs on the street."
Ownership of the final products based on FileNet's systems will remain with the software companies that are part of the CSP.
The recent acquisition by FileNet of Watermark and Saros - both in the same field - is expected to give the company greater coverage of the low- to medium-end of the workflow and document imaging/management business.
Software companies interested in FileNet's CSP program should contact Andy Barbour at FileNet on (02) 9273 9900.
