Fujitsu has strengthened its relationship with ACA Pacific by naming the document and imaging specialist as preferred distributor for its new M3093DE mid-range duplex scanner.
The new unit has a scan rate of 45 images per minute in duplex mode or 27 pages per minute in simplex mode.
It comes with a 50-page document feeder and advanced image enhancement technology, such as automatic contrast adjustment.
The M3093DE can also operate as a flatbed scanner.
Dedicated to the market
Fujitsu's Larry Rufener highlighted the price as another key feature.
"What we're offering to the market is a duplex scanner at the 27ppm speed at under $7000. And we feel that's an excellent price point to move some scanners."
The decision to name ACA as the preferred distributor is based on that company's dedication to the scanner marketplace, said Fujitsu's account manager, Steve Smit.
"ACA has not only dedicated itself to the imaging market, they've got dedicated imaging centres with demonstration stock. So they've actually got our scanners on display running with applications," he said.
The value ACA can add around the product from the rest of its portfolio is an attraction, said Rufener.
"It's obviously one of those products that doesn't do much good unless it has the application driving it, and that's where ACA fills in by providing the application software, integration services and so forth."
ACA Pacific was recently award the Fujitsu Sales Excellence award for the second time.
