Specialist retailing distributor Marketing Results has added to its portfolio by picking up the distribution rights to PowerQuest's Partition Magic software. The distributor has also netted the rights to Traveling Software's LapLink products.
"Partition Magic's been selling very well in the channel," said Marketing Results' man-aging director Rod Orrick. "And because we pretty much own the utility isles nowadays, we thought that it would make a good addition to the product portfolio."
Partition Magic itself is a product that allows users to dynamically segment their hard drives without using the FDISK command.
Orrick said Marketing Results is also receiving widespread interest in its Sales Assist in-store help lines. Eleven of the phone booths are to be installed in Harvey Norman stores this week, while three other mass merchandisers have also expressed interest in the concept.
