Digital has consolidated its sales and marketing operations into a single organisation headed locally by Ron Bunker, the company's managing director. The move was designed to make it easier for resellers and end users to do business with the company.
"The new structure will mean there will be a single point of contact for resellers," said Paul Jones, Digital's new marketing communications manager.
Looking after the channel at Digital is Phil Dean-Jones and sales manager Peter King.
"Rather than separate business units for PCs and systems, we now have a single products group," said Jones.
The new director of marketing is Saroj Suraweera, previously Digital's director of marketing in the ASEAN region for the company's PC business unit. Patrick O'Halloran, a long-time digit (as Digital employees call themselves), is now director of sponsorships and corporate events for the Asia-Pacific region.
