Multimedia technology will be at the centre of a four-day celebration that will incorporate a major exhibition and more than a dozen other events being held in and around Melbourne from October 30 to November 2.
Events include a UN conference on secure infrastructures for electronic commerce and a forum on how multimedia could transform the way governments deliver services.
More than 160 exhibitors are expected to crowd over 15,000 square metres of exhibition space - almost twice the area used in last year's festival.
Most festival events will be open to the public. Attendees are expected from all over Australia as well as the Asia-Pacific region and the US.
The Asia-Pacific Multimedia Festival is being organised by Interact Events. They can be contacted on Tel (03) 9696 7900.
