Banksia ramps-up modem access

You don't need to be a rocket scientist to work out that most small-to-medium businesses need quality Internet access but often can't afford the exorbitant pricing of ISDN to get it.

Banksia has entered the SOHO market with an integrated hub/router with three modem ports that provide shared Internet access from a central location. With a list price of $995, WebRamp M3 features a 4-port 10Base-T Ethernet hub, an in-built router and IP routing support for dynamic and single IP.

The trio of analog modem serial ports can support any existing mix of 14.4, 28.8, 33.6 or 56Kbit/sec modems. WebRamp M3's router software is based on Connection Optimised Link Connection (COLT) technology.
