IT retail trailblazer Tony Gattari has revealed that his "consulting days" are over and it's now time to carve out a piece of the universe for himself.
After a four-month contracting stint with distributor Dataflow, the former Harvey Norman general is understood to be setting up a new retail-related venture, along with several substantial financial backers.
According to Gattari, it's a "substantial initiative in the etail market space". He confirmed to ARN LiveWire that there were a number of financial institutions involved in what he described as a "major investment in computer and related products".
The venture is due to be revealed in mid March.
"It involves etail fulfilment partners, a call centre and is in the hi-tech space," an enthusiastic Gattari said.
