SyQuest drops prices up to 20 per cent

Removable storage manufacturer SyQuest has lowered prices on some of its products, and is offering a four-month free drive cartridge promotion in an effort to boost sales.

Included in the price cuts: the 135Mb EZ135 SCSI drive system for Macintosh and PC (now $399), the 200Mb SCSI subsystem for Macintosh (now $840), and the 270Mb SCSI subsystem for both Macintosh and PC (now $840). SyQuest is also offering an additional free cartridge, valued between $38 and $120 with the purchase of a subsystem.
