Over the last few weeks here at ARN, the troops have been donning their thinking caps, trying to come up with ways to provide value-added services to our readers. Surprise, surprise, the rusty wheels turned -- and out popped an idea.
It's called "Deal of the week" and it's a sample of the plans ARN will unveil on its Web site (arn.idg.com.au) in the weeks ahead.
Say for example, you're a reseller on the lookout for new, whiz-bang products to sell to customers but you don't want to pay the earth to distributorsARN's "Deal of the week" would give distributors the chance to advertise bargain basement deals on any product range, incorporating all pricing and specs.
Imagine what an asset "Deal of the week" could be to resellers; they could access weekly bargains from leading distributors across Australia.
Distributors would also be delighted to learn they have attracted new sales courtesy of the "Deal of the Week" concept.
