Hewlett-Packard's commercial channel organisation recently released its Australian first-quarter sales figures for the three months to January, recording 41.5 per cent growth over the same period last year.
The HP Personal Systems Group, which handles the company's range of notebooks, Intel based servers, desktops and workstations, displayed the best growth with sales increasing 180 per cent over the same period a year earlier. And according to HP's commercial sales and marketing manager, Chris Greig, the growth can be directly linked with the company's aggressive channel marketing strategy.
Greig said Hewlett-Packard resellers have demonstrated an ability to meet the needs of a growing number of customers opting for single-vendor solutions.
"Our sales partners have proven their nimbleness to take products from all categories and successfully integrate them into total solutions that benefit their customers' businesses," he said.
