CHA acquires Queensland distributor

CHA acquires Queensland distributor

Ever-growing distributor Computer Hardware of Australia (CHA), headed by IT entrepreneurs Stephen Sampson and Roger Bushell, has acquired leading Queensland distributor Totally Portable.

The purchase puts CHA in a leading position with many of the industry's leading vendors, and takes it one step closer to achieving its national distribution strategy.

A key factor in the purchase is Totally Portable's Toshiba distributorship. For a long time CHA has barracked for national Toshiba rights, and this latest purchase is another is a step in the right direction.

Totally Portable was established in April 1997 and is Queensland's premier regional distributor for a number of market-leading products including NEC notebooks, which will be a welcome addition to the CHA stable.

This acquisition puts CHA's revenue well beyond the $100 million mark.
