Canon has announced the winners of its 2007 Environmental Grant. The scheme is in its second year and provides five successful applicants with Canon products of their choice up to the value of $5000.
The winners were selected from 75 applicants and included Epping Scout Group, Glen Huon Primary School, EarthCollective, National Parks Association of NSW and PAW Media and Communications.
The aims of each winner ranged from recording environmental issues on bush reserves, protecting and conserving the condition of Sydney Harbour and communicating the benefits from the natural environment.
"Environmental impacts are considered at all stages of a Canon product lifecycle, from development to end of life," Canon managing director, Shuichi Tsukahara, said.
