Microsoft Systems Management Server 1.1 or 1.2When you are doing an inventory with the Microsoft Systems Management Server 1.1 or 1.2, INVMAC hangs during the first part of the operation. This isn't a crash, insists Microsoft; INVMAC reads the RESYNC.CFG file 48 bytes at a time. Microsoft suggests you periodically use DUMPSYNC.EXE from the BackOffice Resource Kit to purge the RESYNC.CFG file and keep it to a reasonable size.
Lotus Notes 4.6.1
If you are using the Lotus Notes 4.6.1 POP3 client and you compose a message addressed to someone without a domain name, or whose name is not in the Domino Public Address Book, you will see this error: "Replicator error, SMTP Protocol Returned-ERR, sending mail." The message will then be held in the SMTP.BOX and will not be delivered when Location documents are configured to send mail straight to the Internet, and the setting for Outgoing Mail specifies a Notes server running SMTP/MTA. If there are multiple messages in the outbox, and one of them has this problem, it will keep all the messages from being delivered. You must delete the bad message from the SMTP.BOX so the rest of the mail can be sent.
Netscape Enterprise Server 3.5.1
When installing the Netscape Enterprise Server 3.5.1 onto a Unix platform, if one server is installed as root and a second server is installed as nobody, the second server will not be able to initialise the Web Publishing Metadata because of the wrong permission.
