IDG and Reed Business Information, a division of Reed-Elsevier, has announced that Reed's newly acquired titles, focused on distribution channels for computer products, will join IDG's global network of 18 channel-related titles.
The new Reed titles, all published in the UK, include market leaders Microscope, The VAR, and Business and Technology.
According to Media Monitoring Service, the addition of these titles bring the market share of IDG's network of channel-related titles in Europe to 45 per cent, compared to 15 per cent for rival publisher, CMP.
With the UK stable of channel publications onboard, IDG can now boast an extensive cross-section of information from the US, China, the Netherlands and New Zealand.
