Troubled QLD IT group skittled again

Administrators have closed two of the three technology-related companies in Queensland's troubled Foundation Group of companies. Software distributor Pactronics and hardware supplier OK Technologies are no longer trading, said administrator Jack Duff of Deloite Touche Tohmatsu.

However, all 19 stores in the group's third business, Software Today, are still open for business, he said. Software Today has outlets in Melbourne, Sydney and Darwin plus all major Queensland centres.

The stores are not only trading but gearing up for a sales campaign, Duff said. He would not confirm rumours that Coles-Myer has put in the bid for the chain.
