Building an intranet for customers cannot get any easier, claims the company distributing IntraNetics, a product touted as an out-of-the-box intranet solution.
XI Consulting Group is looking for resellers of Intranetics, which consists of 19 integrated business applications all of which use a browser front end.
Intranetics helps small to medium busi- nesses share information and resources in an intranet environment, said Carlo Santoro, XI Consulting Group managing director.
"It is broken down into five easy-to-use categories: people, places, time, reference and things," Santoro said.
People applications include those that allow employees to be tracked, allow organisational charts to be created and updated, and a business contact database to be developed, sorted and searched.
Places applications allow users to browse, sort and search internal job listings, create and view a facilities map, reference internal phone rosters, discuss company happenings in forums, and use online training applications.
Other applications include those which generate common expense reporting across a company; allow users to view supply catalogues and place orders; download the latest sales presentation; sort, search and download software and drivers; and create a company newsletter.
Intranetics costs $8495 and users will need a Web server, industry-standard database and browsers to run it.
