IBM GSA appoints new CEO

IBM GSA has had a changing of the guard with Ed Kilroy leaving for greener pastures in the US, his position as managing director and CEO for Australia being taken by Colleen Arnold, an 18-year veteran of IBM.

Arnold was previously the general manager, global year 2000 and distribution sector, for IBM GSA, and has also been responsible for the outsourcing and systems integration services of IBM GSA's retail, distribution and computer services division.

Kilroy leaves the position he assumed in January 1998 with an impressive track record, according to Fred Amoroso, general manager IBM GSA, Asia Pacific. "Mr Kilroy has overseen the growth of the team by over 2400 employees, from 5700 employees in 1998 to more than 8000 today."
