IBM unveils new workstations, servers, notebooks

IBM recently unveiled its new range of enhanced products for the Personal Systems Group and Netfinity server range.

The new products cover a broad spectrum of areas including desktop and mobile PCs, high-performance processors and networking hardware.

They include: IBM Netfinity 5500 and 3000 servers and networking solutions; IBM PC 300 PL, the first Intel BX chip-based PC from IBM; IBM IntelliStation Mpro, an addition to the NT workstation series; IBM ThinkPad 600 and 770ED; IBM PC Options and storage solutions including flatbed scanner and flat screen monitor.

Ranjit Limaye, general manager of IBM Personal Systems Group Australia & New Zealand, said IBM is not only concerned with delivering products to its customers but offering total solutions.

Limaye also said IBM is committed to working with its business partners, which includes Intel, Microsoft, Baan and SAP to deliver total solutions to customers.
