If you upgrade to Novell GroupWise 5.5, be aware that the addresses' order changes to be more specific on the left side of an address. In previous editions of GroupWise, the order of address was Domain.Postoffice.User, so that addresses get more specific as you moved to the right. In GroupWise 5.5, Novell says addresses will be User.Postoffice.Domain, matching the Internet scheme. If no matches are found for an address in GroupWise 5.5, then the old address scheme will be used to try to ensure backward compatibility.

Microsoft says that Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 3 installed or Windows NT Server 4.0 Terminal Server Edition has a problem with Novell NetWare networks. If multiple processes using Client Services for NetWare or Gateway Services for NetWare try to manipulate the same file, Microsoft says the NT client may run into "random stop screens." A fix will be in the next Service Pack, or contact Microsoft Technical Support to get these files: For Windows NT 4.0, get 17/08/98 22:28 152,816 NWRDR.SYS (x86) 12/08/98 23:32 80,656 NWWKS.DLL (x86)17/08/98 22:27 277,584 NWRDR.SYS (Alpha)12/08/98 23:51 132,368NWWKS.DLL (Alpha); and for Windows NT Server 4.0 Terminal Server Edition get 26/08/98 22:49 153,968 NWRDR.SYS (x86) 26/08/98 22:59 276,560 NWRDR.SYS (Alpha).
