RSL COM goes indirect to boost coverage

RSL COM has set up an indirect channel for its burgeoning corporate business.

Australia Star, a new subsidiary of RSL COM, comprises a network of approximately 200 dealers nationwide, who cater specifically to the small and medium business (SMB) market.

According to Matt Zachari, RSL COM's communications manager, the subsidiary has been set up by a number of experienced telecommunications dealers and will offer a range of unique products and services.

Adrian Seward, who was formerly national channels manager of AAPT, has been appointed as Australia Star's managing director.

A top tier of approximately 20 sub-dealers operate as key RSL COM resellers, with the remainder of Australia Star's network of dealers working under them.

Zachari told ARN that Australia Star was established to give RSL COM coverage in areas it was unable to reach with its own sales force.
