Now is the chance to sort out all your questions about the recent changes to the sales tax legislation. Officials from the Australian Taxation Office will be at ARN's Reseller Forum to be held in Melbourne this Saturday. They will answer questions put to them by resellers and will have handouts on frequently asked questions.
Topics to be covered include: Confirmation as to what goods are Part 7A goods as defined; advice and copies as to the forms to be used for claiming exemption and or refunds; what is meant by the term "manufacture".
ARN channel director Paul Zucker said this was a reseller-only event which will allow resellers to discuss the things that are of greatest concern to them. Planned topics include "What concerns resellers have about the IT channel in Australia" and "Do we need an industry code of conduct".
The ARN Reseller Forum will be held on Saturday morning 31st October in Hospitality Suite 3 at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. It starts at 9am sharp, and runs through until lunchtime, giving resellers time to attend the show as well.
