Games developer GT Interactive pushed the marketing of its titles to new limits recently with the launch of a massive advertising campaign to accompany the arrival of the latest version of one of it best-selling products.
If you are selling computers, chances are you are selling software, and if you are selling the latest programs, you are stocking the latest games including the most popular of the console titles. One of the most successful games titles published for the PlayStation and Nintendo 64 platform is Mortal Kombat, of which a new version has just been launched by GT Interactive.
In addition to free-to-air and pay-television advertising during selected top-rating shows, GT Interactive have bought space on over 200 billboard sites in Melbourne and Sydney.
