Microsoft

Windows NT 4.0 clients going through Gateway Services for NetWare (GSNW) to access files on a NetWare server can have problems with a slow connection between NT and GSNW. The client may not be able to see all of the files in the NetWare server's directories.

It is not an issue with a LAN connection, or a Windows NT 3.51 client. Microsoft will include a fix in the next service pack. If you need it sooner, you can contact Microsoft Technical Support and ask for 07/16/98 08:30p 152,784 Nwrdr.sys (x86) or 07/16/98 08:29p 277,648 Nwrdr.sys (Alpha). But if you ask for more support than just the files, Microsoft may charge you for the call.

Netscape

Netscape has a year 2000 patch for its Application Server 2.1. With the patch installed, the server is year 2000 compliant.

You can get it at help.netscape.com/ products/server/nas/y2k.html.
