Following on from what CHA marketing manager James Robbins claims has been a very successful Australian channel program to support Toshiba resellers, the former Compaq distributor has now extended its "Very Important Notebook" (VIN) deal to includeAcer product.
According to Robbins, CHA's VIN customer care program provides the end user with additional warranty benefits that include, "in the unlikely event of hardware failure", courier pickup and delivery as well as priority repair. The unit is then repaired, tested and returned to the end user within 72 hours. Bundled in the VIN package is a copy of Norman Virus Control. "The customer even gets a free call number to use in order to verify a hardware fault," said Robbins.
Brochures and posters about the VIN program are available to resellers free from all CHA offices and anyone wanting to know more about it can call the CHA hotline on 1800 629 041.
