Sun and SQRIBE join forces

On the back of the success of its new ReportMart enterprise application, SQRIBE Technologies has garnered an invitation to join Sun Microsystems Strategic Catalyst Developer Program.

Sun and SQRIBE are intending to utilise the ReportMart as a tool in Sun's Decision Warehousing Program as an educational initiative to help companies make optimum use of intranets, extranets and the Web.

Transcend boundaries

According to officials from the two companies, Sun is impressed with ReportMart's ability to transcend the boundaries often apparent when attempting to access a data warehouse and other types of information from different platforms and browsers.

ReportMart is a 100 per cent Java driven system that Kim Henshaw, SQRIBE's Asia- Pacific general manager, claims is "scalable, open and easily integrated into business intelligence tools or data warehousing solutions across any network".
