Australian systems integrator Business Computers of Australia (BCA) has followed the signing of its recent deal with Kinnears by announcing that Cisco has awarded it accredited Cisco Silver Certified Partner status.
This follows a decision earlier this year by Cisco to appoint several of BCA's systems engineers as Cisco Certified International Experts.
According to Louis Vellios, BCA's national marketing manager, the Cisco certification is a bonus for the organisation and puts it a step ahead of a number of Cisco's current reseller partners.
"Silver status ensures customers of a certain level of expertise, skills and the ability to provide post-sale professional services of Cisco equipment.
"Cisco does not bestow these certifications lightly on their partners anywhere in the world. It is a long and arduous process in which the recipient really has to earn and qualify for the entitlement," Vellios added.
