Sentor Communications, a Sydney-based developer and integrator and a Lotus Premium Partner, has scored two 1999 Lotus Beacon Awards at the recent Lotusphere conference in Orlando, Florida.
Sentor's Streamlink e-procurement application and the loan processing application built for RAMS Home Loans were chosen out of 900 nominations from around the world.
"We always knew we were the best in the world. This independent recognition from Lotus and the US press simply reinforces that," said Martin Fisk, Sentor's managing director and founder.
Best Industry Solution-Cross Industry award, which recognises outstanding solutions in cross industry, went to Sentor's Lotus-based Streamlink, an application automating purchasing processes for foods and services. It has benefited the Australian blue chip customer base of Sentor with cost savings and cycle time improvement.
Sentor's Domino-based extranet, designed for RAMS Home Loans, won the award for Greatest Business Impact, which acknowledges a solution that significantly improved a single customer's core business processes. Sentor's loan processing application increased the portfolio of the home loan company by 10 times, whilst only doubling its administrative staff.
'We are proud that Australian software and innovation consistently match it with the best of the world," rejoiced Fisk, reiterating that Sentor software has repeatedly won Beacon Awards in all but one year since 1983, the year when the awards started.
