Presence Online's aptrix

Australian Web development company Presence Online has officially launched its Domino- based e-commerce publishing and distribution environment for the production of Internet, intranet and extranet solutions - aptrix.

Recently winning a Lotus award as a best e-business solution at the Asia Pacific Star Awards, aptrix is a toolset that has the ability to analyse, categorise and deliver information according to users' needs, Presence Online officials claim.

Tim Birdsall, business director of Presence Online, claims the solution will deliver significant benefits in the areas of collaborative authoring and cost-effective administration.

Pervasive Software

Pervasive Software has announced the Tango 3.5 Application Server for Sun Microsystems' Solaris operating system. Web-application developers using the Tango 3.5 Development Studio can now run their applications on the Solaris platform, according to the US-based company. The server can integrate JavaScript, Java classes and JavaBeans.

The server costs $6995.

Tripwire security

Tripwire Security Systems last week began to offer free downloads of Linux Version 2.x of its Tripwire File Integrity Software. The tool provides intrusion detection as well as damage assessment, recovery and forensics, according to the US-based company.www.tripwiresecurity.com
