Niche security distributor, SecureServ, has struck a deal with wireless communication vendor, TalariaX, for its SendQuick software.
General manager, Vic Whiteley, said the Singapore-based vendor was a good fit with its existing security product line-up. It planned to bundle the products with its managed security services.
The TalariaX SendQuick suite includes the Alert Server, Entera, Enterprise Server and Alert Plus solutions. These mobile applications send out an SMS to the relevant person if there is a problem with either the installation of a server, performance or power supply.
"It fits in well with firewalls or a CRM system and also has a built in connection to Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Domino," Whiteley said.
TalariaX CEO, Wong Jeat Shyan, said it had selected SecureServ because of its experience in network security, management and IT infrastructure.
"These are the areas that our products are focused on," he said.
The vendor previously maintained a distribution agreement with Dovetail, which was acquired by itX earlier this year.
Whiteley said the products suited all markets but noted an interest in banking, financial and commercial verticals.
He hoped the new range would generate around $1 million in annual revenue.
