Anabelle Bits has signed a master distributor agreement with US venture investment company Ramp Networks to distribute its Web Ramp Internet access products.
Tim McElwee, Ramp Networks' vice president of worldwide sales, told ARN that Anabelle Bits was the ideal partner to appoint as master distributor because of its extensive distribution of networking products.
The WebRamp range is a combination of hardware and software that offers small to medium-sized companies a cost effective way of accessing and sharing the Internet.
WebRamp uses Ramp's own Connection Optimised Link Technology (COLT). This technology allows multiple users to access the one ISP account, or by using up to 3 modems simultaneously, they can accelerate the download performance.
There are three models in the WebRamp range, M3, M3t with dial in support for remote access, and Entre, which has ISDN connection as well as four 10Base-T and two analog phone lines.
According to Elemer Szorkovszky, Anabelle Bits' network products manager, "WebRamp products will be ideal for those many small companies, who want to give users Internet access quickly without having to buy an expensive or complex solution."
Pricing for the WebRamp range starts at $835 (RRP) for the M3, $1440 (RRP) for M3t and $1490 (RRP) for Entre. An upgrade, the IP Tunnelling Kit, is also available to allow several small offices to share a virtual private network.
