ChannelWorld conference is on next week in Sydney. As the first event of its type, we've spent a lot of time finding out what resellers want to get from it. Originally we thought that if we packed it full of useful information about making your business run more effectively, we'd be meeting your needs.
While that is still a vital part of the conference, we've realised that this is a unique opportunity for you to get together and network, and discuss some of the issues that are vital to the channel. Accordingly, we've added some panel sessions that will give you a chance to discuss the hot topics. We've also decided that this is an ideal time to start a discussion area on the Internet which will enable all Australian resellers to ask and answer questions, and in general discuss everything that's important to their businesses.
I don't want to steal editor Phil Sim's thunder, so I'll let him tell you exactly what he's planning. But rest assured that rather than being a one-off event, ChannelWorld is just the start of an ongoing resource meeting ground for the Australian IT channel.
