World number-one software company Microsoft has chosen Australia as the site for its second only Windows DNA development laboratory to be opened outside of the United States.
The Melbourne-based laboratory will provide intensive one-week courses for developers interested in building Distributed interNet Architecture (DNA)-based applications.
Established and operated by Microsoft Expert Software Services in conjunction with Victorian services company Expert Software, Dell Computer and Nortel Networks, the lab will serve as an educational, development and testing centre for corporate, government and independent software vendor development teams throughout Southeast Asia.
