Melbourne-based Tonnex International has scooped a sub-distribution agreement with HP.
The deal will see the distributor take on its range of laser toner and inkjet cartridges as well as back-up media.
Tonnex director, George Solomon, said it took a lot of hard work and perseverance to get involved with HP.
"We are extremely excited with the relationship. It shows that our business is heading in the right direction," he said. "We believe our relationship with HP will only grow stronger."
Solomon said current HP distributors, such as Ingram Micro, Phoenix Toner and Synnex, were doing a good job with resellers that are a part of the HP Original Rewards program, but Tonnex would focus on resellers that did not partake in it. He anticipated the new range would boost its sales revenue figures by about 50 per cent in the next 12 months.
"It is suitable for most resellers right across the board, such as stationary and computer shops, even through to newsagents and post offices," Solomon said.
Partners will be provided with access to Tonnex's Reseller Rewards program and HP's point-based Original Rewards program. Accumulated points can redeemed for items such as gift vouchers, Uniden cordless phone, HP IPAQ or iPod Nano.
