A slew of faxes mark Sharp’s latest contribution to the market. Three new machines have been announced as a refresh of the company’s plain paper range and all use Sharp’s plain paper thermal transfer print technology. The FO-A660 features a built-in digital answering machine, a memory capable of storing 24 pages, a 40-number automatic dialler and 180-page capacity. The FO-P630 matches the features of the FO-A660, except for the integrated answering machine and has a 30-number memory. The FO-P610 has the same features as the FO-P630, but offers slightly slower faxing. The FO-3150, entry-level laser fax, features 1.8MB memory to send or receive up to 100 pages of fax without intervention, a 200-sheet paper tray and a 20-sheet automatic document feeder. The FO-3150 also doubles as a copier which can make up to 50 copies of any document and then automatically sort them. The copy function includes a zoom option to reduce a document to 50 per cent of its original size or produce copies twice the size of the original. Contact Sharp for availability details.
