IBM and 2000-Business Objects team up

2000-Business Objects, the world's leading provider of e-business intelligence solutions, has entered into a worldwide reseller agreement with IBM.

The partnership provides opportunities for IMB and Business Objects customers to sell business intelligence solutions to new and emerging markets.

Under the terms of the agreement, IBM gains rights to sell Business Objects' business intelligence software with DB2 Universal Database and the DB2 OLAP Server on all platforms and languages worldwide which they plan to do primarily directly.

This agreement comes just weeks after Business Objects announced plans to enhance its products to support IBM DB2(R) Version 7 Universal Database, the new release of IBM's database for business-critical systems.
