Western Australian reseller Enterprise Solutions has finalised the rollout of a Navision Software solution for the West Australian Institute of Sport (WAIS). The deal signals the 100th Navision site to go live since the vendor's arrival in Australia less than two years ago.
Chris Stevens, managing director of Enterprise Solutions, said the WA Institute of Sport deal, won by tender, was the sixth Navision solution the reseller has rolled out since becoming a certified Navision channel partner.
"About 12 months ago I went looking for the next system I could provide to my existing and new customers. I looked at around 60 - from the very high-end systems to the bottom of the range - and Navision stood out as the best chance of meeting customer requirements," he said.
Citing Y2K and the introduction of the GST for the rapid adoption of Navision's business software enterprise solutions for small and medium businesses, Garth Laird, Navision's managing director, said almost half of the vendor's sales have occurred in the last six months.
"The Australian small and medium enterprise market is undergoing a spectacular renaissance," Laird declared.
The rollout will see Enterprise Solution implement and customise Navision software to manage the WAIS Olympic grants program and other financial activities.
Stevens said one of the biggest issues facing SMEs is the business disruption caused by lengthy installation processes. As a result, Enterprise Solutions got the new system up and running in two weeks.
