Queensland retailers are set to reap the benefits from a Department of State Development sponsored project designed to improve retailers' business practices through retail-specific business training.
Using retail experts from around the world, the Retail Rewards Program aims to identify retail best practices and extend this into a program to ultimately improve the bottom-line performance of retailers.
The program involves objective reviews of current performance, promotion of retail cluster groups with common interests and franchising information for single retail outlets looking to make the next step up to multi-site franchises.
The project is being piloted in Ipswich, Gladstone and the Sunshine Coast and, if successful, will be rolled out to the rest of the state. http;//www.oli.tafe.net/retailrewards
