Riding on the back of its recent success in Australia, business diagramming and technical drawing software vendor Visio has intensified its brand awareness campaign by launching a new developer support program for the Australian and New Zealand developer communities.
The Visio Registered Developer Network (VRDN) is an online resource offering developers a range of free training and support options designed to help them with enterprise-level custom development.
"We have spent our first four years in Australia educating the market about the visualisation tools," said Daniel Rohwer, Visio Australia's development manager, " and now we want to focus on working with both small and large enterprise solution centres, supporting them through this network."
As part of Visio's Business Partner Program, the www.visio.com/vdn/-based network allows developers to access advanced technical support services, live interactive developer training broadcasts and seminars, software development tools, sample code and case studies. Members will also receive discounts on selected products and the latest Visio news accompanied by "tips and tricks" advice.
"Resellers have always been a key to our success and this is a way of showing them that we value our developer community and the support we receive from them," Rohwer said.
Access to the VRDN services is available upon registration at http://www.visio.com/vdn.
